Project 30 of 52: Dirtbike Cake

Hubby's friend had a birthday a while back and he asked for a dirtbike cake...

It looked different in my head but he was happy with it.

It was a chocolate pound cake with chocolate buttercream frosting. I used crushed oreos and graham crackers to cover the cake.

Project 29 of 52: Going Away Cookies

Recently one of my co-workers left us. She moved to Colorado with her boyfriend so he could continue his education. We were really sad to lose her so I decided to make a few cookies for her. We did a potluck at work but someone else really wanted to make the dessert so I just decided to make enough cookies for her.

I swear I didn't notice the wrinkles in this one until I looked at the pictures on the computer.

It doesn't really matter though because they tasted awesome.

And they are her favorite colors.

And they looked so cute in their jar with the coordinating ribbon
